Great information on a topic that effects everyone in our family.
Does "Milk" increase "Mucus" production?
About two years ago a pediatrician sent me a family with a 1 year old boy who was suffering with chronic mucus. This issue was affecting his breathing and hygiene. The parent was fearful that the child may suffocate or contract a serious respiratory tract infection, which was the initial diagnosis. After treating the child for the removal of nerve interference (Subluxation) for about two weeks with short lived results, as the mother was leaving our office she opened a yogurt and feed it to the child.
I remember asking her about the child's diet in reference to dairy and she never disclosed that she had been giving him 1 full yogurt per day to fulfill his daily calcium requirements. Upon further questioning she admitted that this mucus issue began shortly after she began this new routine and that the pediatrician had no issue with it. I asked her to discontinue the routine for 2 weeks to see if the child's condition would change. The rest is history and the question has been answered. We do not need to drink cows milk as humans and we can substitute it with great alternatives if we really need to drink milk. See the video below and please share it.
